How can you as a parent be prepared for these “big” emotions and help your children to deal with their sentiments more positively?
In today's interconnected world, fostering cultural diversity from an early age is more important than ever. As globalization reshapes our societies, teaching children about diversity and tolerance during their formative years is essential for building an inclusive future. But how can we, as educators and parents, effectively introduce these vital lessons without overwhelming young minds? By weaving multicultural experiences into everyday learning, we can create environments that not only celebrate differences but also nurture empathy, curiosity, and critical thinking. Once upon a time, parents everywhere mastered the art of making storytelling fun for their kids.
Now wouldn’t this just be the perfect ending to any parenting story?
We cannot overstate the value of storytelling, especially for younger children. While you may see storytelling as entertaining, there are more benefits to storytelling for children. Children learn new words during the storytelling process, they develop certain personality traits when listening to stories, and stories provide them with the looking glass through which they can see the world.
Storytelling for children has numerous advantages. However, all children love storytelling, irrespective of whether they are listening to a tale being told or whether they are telling the story themselves. For this reason alone, we look at certain tips and tricks that you can use to make the process of storytelling more fruitful and fun.
Have you noticed how different your younger child is in comparison to your older child?
You might have found that your older child responded better to visual stimuli and could sit and learn without fidgeting.
Why is your younger child battling when it comes to sitting down and learning? Why won’t the same images excite your younger child?
If you are asking yourself these questions, you are already acknowledging that each of your children has a different preferred learning style.
In today’s world, technology pervades our lives irrespective of age. From children to adults, we rely on digital devices like computers, mobile phones, and tablets for communication, learning, entertainment, and social media engagement.
This era can rightly be called the Digital Age. While technology offers numerous benefits, it is crucial to balance online and offline activities to maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially for children. Excessive screen time can adversely affect physical and mental well-being. Therefore, implementing strategies to harmonize digital and offline activities is essential.
As a parent, you surely do understand how important it is to support and encourage your child’s learning from the moment that they start formally learning in the preschool setting. You may also know how crucial parental support is during these early years.
But how do you get started with further learning and exploration at home? Where do you to begin when encouraging learning from home?

How do children memorize new material?
According to a study by Gustav Fechner, about 60% of the material is forgotten immediately after the lesson and 80% within a month when learning in a standard way.
We learned from our scientific advisors: learning works best if multiple types of engagement are applied: cognitive, emotion, cultural, physical.

🗣 How does yelling affect a child's brain?
Raising a child through yelling is not only ineffective but also very harmful. This has been proven by scientists from the US.
Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh have revealed that daily scandals between parent and child negatively affect the mental state of the child. For two years they analyzed almost 1000 families. In those families where shouting for educational purposes was the norm, younger children showed symptoms of anxiety and depression, and teenagers were found to have behavioral problems. Families who frequently engage in shouting are likely to raise children with low self-confidence.
The main reasons for parents who could not restrain emotions most often were fatigueness and nervous exhaustion.
Get more rest. Take care of yourself first, then the child. And while you take a break, the child can learn with CatnClever.

Encouraging joyful and fearless learning is essential for our little ones, as it lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning and the courage to explore new ideas without fear of mistakes. Especially in STEM fields, where critical thinking, experimentation, and creativity reign, fostering this mindset is paramount.
Digital devices have become an integral part of our lives, including our children's. However, determining the appropriate amount of screen time can be challenging. Experts recommend limiting screen time for children aged 5 to 18 to no more than 2 hours per day. At CatnClever, we understand the importance of healthy digital device usage, particularly for preschoolers aged 3 to 6. We believe that 20-30 minutes of educational screen time per day is sufficient for their developmental needs.
The emotional component of learning is essential because emotions play a crucial role in how we process, remember, and apply information. Research has shown that emotions can significantly impact attention, motivation, and memory, which are critical factors in the learning process.
By prioritizing the emotional component of learning, we can help children develop a positive attitude towards education. This approach has far-reaching benefits, not only for academic achievement but also for social and emotional well-being. Let's create a supportive learning environment that nurtures children's emotions and sets them on a path to lifelong success.
